Up close it is affable, offering us appetizing aromas of red and black fruits, ripe and in jam, elegantly seasoned with subtle spices, liquorice, dried flowers and delicate fine leather; On the palate, it expresses itself with finesse, resulting tasty, fresh and juicy, with a delicate tannic structure, good harmony and persistent fruitiness.
Alan de Val is a pioneering, family winery committed to wines made from native grape varieties, where tradition and terroir form a genuine profile of their own. In addition to the quintessential varieties of the Valdeorras region, Mencia and Godello, they make wines with other varietals characteristic of the area: Garnacha Tintorera, Brancellao, Caino and Souson.
